� IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF A'
� PORTION OF PLATT AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF
' SANI^1ARY SEWERS AND APPURTENANT WORK. ,
� RESOLUTION ORDERING THE WORK AND DIRECTING THE
,, CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE INVITING BIDS.
BE IT RESOLUED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
as follows:
Section 1: In the opinion of said City �ouncil, the public
interest and convenience require,and said City Council having acquired '
,jurisdiction so to do, the following work or improvement is hereby
ordered to be done, to-wit:
The construction of vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewers
together with manhole, lamphole, house connections, and all appurten-
ant work in Platt Avenue, as more particularly described in Resolution
of Intention No. 2536.
Section 2: Al1 of the work or improvement aforesaid shall
' be done as contemplated in Resolution of Intention tvo. 2536 of the
City Council of said City, and to Plan No. 1954-A-3, to which reference
is hereby made for further particulars.
_ Section 3: Said proposed work or improvement, in the
opinion of said City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public
benefit and said City Council hereby d.etermines and declares that the
district to be benefited by said work and improvement, and to be
assessed to pay the entire costs and expenses thereof is particularly
' described in Resolution of Intention No. 2536. Reference is hereby
made to said Resolution of Intention and to Plan No. 1954-A-4 for
further particulars as to the extent of the assessment diatrict.
Section�4: The proceedings for the aforesaid work and
improvement shall be had and taken under an Act of the Legislature of-
the State of California designated the Streets and Highways�Code,
Division 7, and cited as the "Improvement Act of 1911", and amend.ments
thereto.

Section 5: The City Council hereby determir�s and
declares that serial bonds shall be issued in the form and manner
provided in said aforementioned Act, bearing interest at the rate
of six.(6) per centum per annum to represent each assessment of
twenty-five ($25•,00) dollars or over, remaining unpaid for thirty
days after the date o£ warrant. Said serial bonds shall extend
• over a period ending nine years from the second day of January
next succeeding the next October 15th followin� their date. Said,
bonds and interest thereon shall be paid at the office_of the City,
Treasurer_of said City and. shall be disbursed by him, all as pro-
_ vided in said Act; �
, Section 6: The City Clerk shall post and cause to be
published a notice�inviting sealed proposals or bids f.or doing
the above described-work or improvement in the time, form, and
manner required by law. �
