RESOLUTION'OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
' LYN�r700D.Ati�dARDING BONDS OF SAID CITY TO BEST
' . BIDDER, . ,
• WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the openin� of
^ b3.ds for the $400,000 bonds oP the City of Lynwood, designated
Swimming Pool Bonds 1954 and numbered 1 to 400, inclusive, all
bids were publicly opened, examined and. read, and a tabulation
._ thereof has been entered in the minutes; and
WHEREAS, the bid of �he bidder hereinafter named is the
, highest and best bid made by a responsible bidder for said bonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Ci�y of Lynwood,
DOES I3EREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as,follows:
� Section 1, That the bid of,Security-First National Bank
of Los Angeles, Aeller, Bruce & Co., R. H. Moulten & Co., John
Nuveen & Co, offering par, accrued interest to date of delivery and
a premium of $21.00 for said bonds to bear interest at the rate of
2-1/2o per annum on the bonds maturing in the years 1955 to 1g62
and at the rate of 2-1/4% per annum on bonds maturing in the years .
1g63 to 1967 and. at the rate of 2-1/2/ on bonds maturing in the
. years 1g68 to 1974, all interest payable annually for the first year
; and semiannually thereafter, is the highest and best bid for said
� bonds. Said bid is hereby accepted and the bonds awarded to said
bidder in accordance with the terms of its proposal.'
Seetion 2. That all bids, other than the one accepted in
Section 1 hereof, are rejected and the City Clerk is directed to
return the checks accompanyin� said rejected bids to the respective_
bidders,
Section 3. ,That the interest rates on said bonds are
hereby fixed at the rates stated in Section I hereof:
Section 4, The City Treasurer is hereby directed to deliver
' said bonds to the successful bidder upon the payment of par, accrued
interest to date of delivery and the premium above stated. ----
