� A RESOLUTION PASSING UPON OBJECTIONS, AND DIRECT-
ING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO ABATE.TI-IE
� NUISANCE OF DRY AND DRYING ti+1EEDS THAT EXIST ON
CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
did, on the 2nd day of February 1954 adopt Resolution No 253o re-
latin� to the abatement of dry and drying weeds on certain parcels .
of land in the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, due notice was given to destroy such weeds by
posting "Notice to Destroy '�Jeeds" notices as required by law, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of pro-
tests and ob,jections to said matter a hearing was duly held and no
written or oral objections were made, either in writin� or orally, to
the doing of said�,work, and
WF�REAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood.has con-
sidered all�of the facts and is fully informed in the matter; that
they have acquired jurisdiction to proceed and perform the work of
removal of said nuisances,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed to abate
the nuisances described in sai.d Resolution No. 2530 by having said
nuisance referred to removed, and he and his assistants are hereby
expressly authorized to enter upon private property for that purpose.
- BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property owners shall have
the right to have any such nuisance removed and abated at his own
. expense, provided such tivork is done prior to the time the work is done
by the Superintendent of Streets. If the work is done by the property
owner, no charge shall be made by the City of Lynwood.
