A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNS400D
REQUESTING THE BOARD OF'SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIEIED
SERVICES TO THE CITY OF LYN'."100D , RELATING TO THE CONDUCT
OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON
APRIL 13 , 19�.
1VHEREAS, a o�anara'I municipal election is to be held in the City,of

WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election and in relation thereto it
will be necessary to mail sample ballots and/or polling place cards to the registered
voters of;the City, and it will Pacilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters oP the
County of L�oB Anb�ele,S will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the
names and addresses of the registered voters of said City on mailing labels or stickers
furnished by the City; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this service shall be paid by the
City of Lpnwood .
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council oP the City of LynwoOd
does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE and ORDER, as follows:
Section 1. That it is deemed economical and satisfactory to the City Council oP
the City of LVnwoOd that the Registrar of Voters of the County of T,ns AY1�P� PF
prepare and Purnish to said City, Yor use in condueting said election to be held on
_ ApY•7.1 13, 1954 , the imprinting of the names and addresses of the registered
voters of said City, on mailing labels or stickers Purnished by trie City, and accordingly
and pursuant to the provisions of Section 9483 of the Elections Code of the State of
California, this City Council hereby requests the Board oP Supervisors of said County of
L06 An�eles to permit the Registrar of Voters of said County to render such
services Lo Lhe City in connection with the conduct of said election.
Section 2. That Lhe estimated cost of said services is $ 70.00 , and it is
, hereby ordered that the sum of $ 77.00 (being an amount 10� in excess of such estimated
cost) be reserved from the Punds of said city to the�end triat a sum equal to the actual
cost of said services may be transferred to said county when the work is completed and
goods supplied upon presentation to Lhe city of a properly approved bill from said
county, and accordingly the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to transfer
said last mentioned sum from the G2rieT'�1 Fund of said City to a fund
hereby created and designated "Registrar of Voters Services Fund, 19 5�1-".
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to forward without delay to
said Board of Supervisors and to said Registrar of.Voters, each a certified copy oP this
resolution. . - -
