IN THE MHTTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF �
THE FIRST ALLEY NORTHERLY OF CENTURY BOULE=
VARD EXTENDING EASTERLY FROM HARRIS AVENUE,
APPROXIMATELY 400�, BY THE CONSTRUCTION OF
CONCRETE GUTTER AND PLANT-MIXED PAVEMENT.
RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF DEBT
LIMITATION REPORT. .
The:City Council of the'.City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
. (1) That the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
(2) That the general nature, location, and extent of
such proposed improvement is as follows: The construction of a con-
crete gutter and plant-mixed pavement in the first alley northerly
of Century Boulevard extending easterly from Harris Avenue approxi-
mately 400 feet.
(3) It is hereby determined that no part of the cost or
expense of said work or improvement is to be paid by said City of
Lynwood.
(4) It is hereby further determined that�the City Council
of the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and in accordance
with Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, which is known as the n�upecial Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Ma,jority Protest Act of 1931," as amended. It is
hereby further determined that said City Council �roposes to con-
duct the proceedings for said proposed work or improvement under
an Act of the Legislature of the State of California known and des-
ignated as the "Improvement Act of 1911" as amended.
(5) T1'ie boundary or extent of the assessment district
to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improvement is
shown on Plan No. 1954-A-1 on file in the office of the City.Clerk
;
of said City which map shall govern for all details as to the extent
of said assessment district.
(6) That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed
to prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report.covering
,
said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said
"Special Assessment'Investigation, Limitation and Ma,�ority Protest
Act of 1931", as amended.
