A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD, APPROVING REPORT OF THE CITY
ENGINEER AND FIXING TIME OF HEARING IN THE
MATTER OF THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF LONG
BEACH BOULEVARD BETWEEN IMPERIi�.L HIGHW�Y AND
CENTURY BOULEVARD BY THE INSTALLATION OF AN
ORN�NlENTAL STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM, INCLUDING
ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTEN�NT WORK.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows;
WHE.REAS, a report on the proposed. improvement, to wit,
the installation of an ornamental street lighting system with 20,000
lumen mercury vapor lamps, includ.ing all incidental and. appurtenant
work, all as shown on Plan No 1956-E-2 has been prepared. by the
City Engineer and. delivered. to the City Council of the City of Lynwood.,
as provided in Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code, cited. as
the "Special Assessment, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931"
as amended, as d.irected. by the City Council at its regular meeting
held on September 18 1956
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Section l. That the City Council of' the City of Lynwood
does hereby approve said report and orders that said report be filed.
with the City Clerk.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby fixes the 4th day
of December, 1956 at the hour of 8 o�clock p.m, as the day and. hour,
and the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road in the
City of Lynwood, California, as the place when and where any and all
persons interested ma� appear before said City Council and be heard
on any matter pertaining to said. report.
Section 3, That the City Clerk is hereby ordered to give
notice prescribed by Section 2851 of said. Streets and Highways Code
referred to and cited as "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation
and. Majority Protest :�,ct of 1931,'� as amended., to all persons d.esig-

nated in said. Section.
APPROVED and. ADOPTED this 16th day of October, 1956
