SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
January 25, 2017
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Vincent Yu called the Special Meeting to order at 7:05 a.m.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember— Chavez, Man, Yu
ABSENT: Councilmember— Fish.Sternquist
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, Community Development Director
Forbes, and Public Safety Supervisor Ariizumi
Captain Jacob, Deputy Adams, Deputy Lam, and Deputy
Zuniga
Councilmember Chavez made a motion to excuse Mayor Pro
Tem Sternquist and Councilmember Fish for cause. Mayor Yu
seconded the motion.

Deputy Lam provided a brief overview of the number of sex offender
registrants, parolees, and probationers in the City.

Deputy Lam provided an update regarding arrests and operations in the City.
C. CRIME TRENDS
Deputy Lam provided an overview of crime trends in neighboring cities
affecting Temple City.
