RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD WITflDftAWING CERTAIN AREAS OF LA.ND AN-
NEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation
of certain land., as hereinafter described, to said City of Lynwood,
a nd.
WHEREAS, said City of Lynwood does provide fire protection
tc said area of land, and
WHEREAS, the State of Ca1,if'ornia Health and. Safety Code,
Division 12, Part 3, Chapter 2, Article 11, provides that whenever any
portion of a fire pro�ection district is included within a city by
reason of annexation, such por�ion may be withdrawn from the district,
NOW, TI-�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described area of' land be and the
same is hereby declared withdrawn from said Consolidated Fire Pro-
tection District of Los Angeles County:

Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line
of Wrigh� Road, 33 feet wide, and the southerly line
of Century Boulevard (formerly Morton Road), 55 feet
wid.e, as shown on map of Tract No. 10634 record.ed in
Book 165, pages 40, 41, and 42 of Maps, Record.s of
Los Angeles County, California, said point being on
the boundary line of the City of Lynwood. as said boun-
dary line existed March 7, Z956 thence southerly
along said boundary line and following the same in all
its varicus courses to the easterly line of that por-
tion of Wright Road, 50 feet wide, shown on said map
as having a bearing of North 20 10� 25" East; thence
southerly along the sou�herly prolongation of said.
easterly line to the eas�terly prolongation of' said.
southerly line of Century Boulevard, 55 feet wid.e;
thence wessterly in a direct line to the point of
beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed and.
ordered to file copies of this resolution with the State Board of Equali-
zation, County Board of Supervisors, County Clerk, and County Assessor.
