HomeMy Public PortalAbout2004-037 Resolution Granting CUP to City of Medina for Salt Storage Structure at City HallMember Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.04-37 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO THE CITY OF MEDINA FOR A SALT STORAGE STRUCTURE AT CITY HALL WHEREAS, The City of Medina (the "Applicant") owns and operates City Hall located at 2052 County Road 24 (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant seeks permission through a conditional use permit to construct a Salt Storage Structure for the Public Works Department on the Subject Property; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the planning commission at its meeting on May 11, 2004 and by the city council on June 1, 2004; and WHEREAS, that the Applicant's proposed improvements to the Subject Property will not adversely interfere with the use of neighboring sites for the purposes for which they are zoned. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicant for the purpose of constructing a Salt Storage Structure.
