MEETING OF FEBRUARY 8, 2017
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and f il e the Transportation and Public Safety
Commission (Commission) actions from their meeting of February 8, 2017.
BACKGROUND:

ANALYSIS:
Following is a sum mary of actions taken at the February 8 , 2017 , meeting :
1. ROLL CALL
Present: Commissioner -Clift, Redmond , Stratis, Vi ce-Chairma n Blatt ,
Chairman Nimri
Absent: Commissioner -None
Excused : Commissioner-None
2 . CONSENT CALENDAR
The Commission approved the minutes of their January 11 , 2017, meeting .

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Commission held five hearings in person . Three citations were upheld and two
citations were dismissed .
The Commission held four hearings by written declaration . One citation was upheld
and three citations were dismissed .
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reporting the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City 's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Communication .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2016-17 City Budget.
