CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.04-38
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR WATER TREATMENT
PLANT
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct a conventional water treatment facility in the
Uptown Hamel area to reduce radium, gross alpha, iron and manganese contaminants levels in the
Hamel Water System.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates
as consulting city engineer for study and that they be instructed to report to the city council with all
convenient speed, advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvements are feasible and as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in connection
with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Workman
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Workman, Lane, Zietlow, Smith, Brinkman
and the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
