A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF DEM�lNDS
AGAINST THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE MANNER
OF SUBMITTING SAID DEMANDS TO THE CITY COUNCIL
FOR APPROVAL, AND PRESCRIBING THE OFFICER OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD WHO SHALL APPROVE THE WARRANTS
DRAWN IN PURSUANCE OF SAID DEMANDS.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
determine and resolve as follows:
Section 1: That the expediting of financial affairs of
the City of Lynwood, and the efficiency of the city government require
the prescribing of the ma�zner of submitting demands to the City Council
for approval by the City Counc3l, and- prescribing the officer of the
City of Lynwood who shall approve the warrants drawn pursuant.to said
demands.
Section 2: All demands against the City of Lynwood shall
be in writing, designate the person, firm, or corporation by whom
demand is made, the person, firm, or corporation to whom payment is
to be made, if other than the person making the demand, the amount
of the demand, and i,he reason for which the amount demanded is due
and owing. The above requirements shall be in addition to all other
requirements of law.
Section 3: Each demand sha.11 be examined. by the City Clerk,
or by the deputy City Clerk, and if he approves it, he shall cause
to be prepared a warrant drawn upon the City Treasurer of the.City
of"Lynwood for each demand thus
Section 4: All warrants, together with all demands thus
submitted, shall be submitted to the City,Council. All demand.s.thus.
presented may be approved by the City Council, and all warrants in
payment of the same.may be authorized by the Council by Demand
Resolution specifying the amount of the demand allowed and the payee �
thereof. 'All warrants thus approved shall be signed by the City Clerk,
or by the deputy City Clerk. .
Section 5: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption ,
