HomeMy Public PortalAbout20121015 finance minutesCITY OF JEFFERSON Finance Committee Meeting Monday, October 15, 2012 MINUTES The meeting was called to order by the Finance Committee Chairman, Councilman Shawn Schulte at 5:00 PM. Roll call showed that Councilmen Schulte, Bray, Weber and Pope were in attendance. Councilwoman Carroll arrived at 5:03 PM. Drew Hilpert, City Counselor, explained the current contract between the City and the Cole County Collector’s office for the collection of the City’s property tax receipts and the request from the Collector to modify said contract. The Cole County Collector, Mr. Larry Vincent, then made a brief presentation justifying why he feels it is necessary to modify the current contract. A brief discussion ensued. The committee decided to review the information that Mr. Vincent presented and have further discussion at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Adjournment took place at 5:17 PM.
