� The City Cov.ncil of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as
follows:
(1) That the public interest, convenience, and necessity require,
and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to institute proceedings for
the improvement hereinafter set forth. -
(2) That the general nature, location, and extent of such proposed
improvement 3s as follow�; The construction of cement concrete curbs, driveways,
sidewalks, and guttere, and the removaZ of eziating parkways, driveways, a.nd trees
on Birch Street between rernwood Avenue and the City Park.
(3) It is hereby determined that forty per cent (40$) of the cost
of said work or imnrovement shall be paid by the City of Lynwood.
(4) It is hereby further determined that the City Council of the
City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and in accordance with Section 4 0£
the Streets and Highorays Code of the St2.te oP California which is knovrn a� the
Special Assessment Investigation, I,imitation and Majority Protest Act o£ 1931,
as e.mended. It is hereby further determined that said City Council proposes to
conduct the ,proceedings for said proposed work or improvement under an act of the
Legisla.ture oP the State of California ]rnown and designated as the °3mprovement
Act of 1911°, as amended.
�5) The boundary or extent of the assessment district to be
assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improve�ent is shown on Plan
No. 1 95 �-C, on'file in the office of the City Clerk of said city, which shall govem
for all details as to the extent o£ said assessment district.
(6) That the City Engineer be ar,d he is hereby directed to prepare
and deliver to said City Council a. written report cover3ng said work or improvec�ent
