RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
• LYNWOOD APPOINTING A MEMBER AND AN ALTERNATE
MEMBER TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COUNTY'
SANITATION DISTRICT N0. 1 OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
• WHEREAS, the County Sanitation District Act,.as amended.
by Statutes lg4g Chapter 882,.contains the Pollowing provisions:
That the governing body of a sanitation district is a
board of directors of not less than three members, a member of the
governing body of each city, the whole or part of which is included
in the sanitation district, is a member of the board, and
WHEREAS, County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles
County does include territory of the City of Lynwood,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Robert B. Compton, a
member of the City Council of the City of Lynwood., be and he is
hereby appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of
County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mrs. Ruthann McMeekin, a member
of the City Council of the City of Lynwood be „ and she is hereby
selected and d.esignated as an alternate member of the Board of'
Directors o£ County Sanitation District No. 1 of Los Angeles County,
who shall be a member of said District Board to act in place of the
presiding officer of this City Council during his absence, inability,
or refusal to act as such member of said District Board.
