RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ,
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, GNING NOTICE OF PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPBRTY IN THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES LYING SOUTHERLY OF'CEN-
TURY BOULEVARD AND EASTERLY OF WRIGAT ROAD.
.(WRIGHT ROAD ANNEXATION N0. 10),
WHEREAS, pursuant to the "Annexation.of Uninhabited Terri-
tory Act of 1939 there has been presented to the City Council of

the City of Lynwood, California, a'petition dated March 30 1956
executed by Mrs. Ella May Perry and five others requesting the annexa-
tion of certain property lying southerly of Century Boulevard and
easterly of Wright Road in the County of Los Angeles,.State of Cali-
fornia, and lying within the following described lines:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line
of Wright Road, 33 feet wid.e,.and the southerly
line of Century Boulevard (formerly,Morton Road), -
55 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 1063�+
recorded in Book 1 65, Pages 40, 41, and 42 of Maps,
Records of Los Angeles County, California-, said
point being on the boundary line of the City o£ �
Lynwood as said'boundary line existed March 7, 1956
thence southerly along said- boundary line and follow-
in the same in all its'various courses to the easter-
' ly line of"that portion of Wright'Road,'50 feet'wide, '
shown on said map as having a bearing•of North 20
1OT25" East; thence southerly along the southerly
prolongation.of said easterly line to the.easterly
prolongation of said southerly line of Century
Boulevard, 55 feet wide; thence westerly in a direct '
line to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS,.said territory is uninhabited, unincorporated
territory contiguous to the city of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, said petition is signed by the owners of not less
than one-fourth of tYie area of land in.such territory and representing
not less than one-fourth of the assessed value of such territ�ry
according to the last preceding equalized assessment roll of the County
of Los Angeles,.State of California, in which such territory is situated.
NOW,,THEREFORE,.BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That pursuant to the."[�nexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of i939 the City Council o£.'the City of Lynwood hereby
gives notice o£ said proposed annexation.

. Section 2: Said territory is hereby designated for identi-
fication,as "Wright Road'Annex No. 10." •,
Section 3: Said City Council hereby gives notice of and
fixes the 6th day of June 1956 at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the
Council Chambers in the City Ha11 „ 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California,
as the day, hour, and place when and. where any.person owning,real
property within such territory so proposed to be annexed and. having
any objections to the proposed annexation'may appear before the City
Council of said City of Lynwood and show cause why such territory
should not be so annexed.
Seetion 4: The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a
copy of this.resolution.to be published once a week for two successive
weeks prior to said hearing, in the Lynwood Press,,a newspaper of
general circulation, printed and. published in.said City of Lynwood, and
also in.the Herald-American, a newspaper of general circulation
published outside of the City of Lynwood but in the County in which
is located the territory.proposed to be annexed.
Section 5: The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to each person
to whom land within the territory proposed to be annexed is assessed
in the last equalized County assessment roll at the address shown on
said assessment roll, or as know�to said Clerk, and to any person
who has filed his name and address and the designation of the lands
in which he has any interest with said Clerk.
�� Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
