A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
CALIFORNIA APPROVING THE ADDITION, INCREASE, OR REDUCTION OF
DEVELOPMENT PROCESSING FEES AMENDWG THE OCTOBER 5, 2010
ADOPTED DEVEL�PMENT SERVICES PROCESSING FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, pursuant to the California Constitution Article XI §7, a city has the
authority to impose fees, charges and rates under its police power; and
WHEREAS, on October 5, 2010 the City conducted a public liearing in
compliance with California Government Code Section 66016; and
WHEREAS, following the adoption of Resolution 2010.202 on October 5, 2010,
staff identified minor errors relating to fees under Building and Safety, Planning, and
Public Works Engineering; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to California Government Code Section 66016, staff
pubiished a notice twice on the Lynwood Press on October 21 and October 28
notifying the public of the November 2, 2010 public hearing; verified with the City Clerk's
Office that there were no interested parties on file that should receive the notice; and
made the proposed corrections on the fees available for public review at the City Clerk's
Office on October 21 S �
NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council approve the addition, increase or reduction of
development processing fees and other City rates, charges and fees for_ various
governmenta! services as listed below:

Section 2. City Council authorize that the current fees be ch"arged until
January 1, 2011, thereafter the new fees will be effective on January 2, 2011.
Sect+on 3. Any action adopting or increasing a fee or charge for development
projecYs may not take effect for at least 60 days upon adoption.
