A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $7,500 FROM THE CITY COUNCIL
DISCRETIONARY FUND IN ORDER TO PAY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH A 2010
EMPLOYEE HOLIDAY PARTY
WHEREAS, City employees have not had a holiday celebration in two years due
to budget constraints; and
WHEREAS, funding is available through the City Council's discretionary
accounts to transfer funds to finance an employee holiday party this year; and
WHEREAS, fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) is being requested frorri each
Council Members discretionary account to fund this activity for FY 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council supports the transfer of $1,500 from each
Council Members discretionary account to fund this 2010 holiday activity.
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the transfer of $1,500 from each
Council Members account to fund the activity.
Section 3. This Resolution shall go into effect immediateiy upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 2" day of November, 2010.
