A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE PLANS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, AND WORKING DETAILS FOR THE CITY
HALL ANNEX BUILDING DEMOLITION
WHEREAS, the plans, contract documents and working details for the City Hall
Annex building demolition are complete and ready for the City Council's review,
consideration and adoption; and
WHEREAS, the demolition of the City Hall Annex building,is a part of the
construction of the new Council Chambers and new Annex Build,ing project, which was
approved by City Council on February 16, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the estimated construction cost of said project is $171,875; and
WHEREAS, the project is currently funded by 1999 Lease Revenue bonds,
2008 Water Bonds and 2003 Revenue Bonds; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Lynwood has
determined that said project is in accordance with the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt pursuant to Section 15301(C) of the CEQA
guidelines pertaining to statutory exemptions.
WHEREAS, the project is ready to be advertised for the solicitation of bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That this project is in conformance with the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is categorically exempt.
Section 2. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby adopts the
Plans, Contract Documents and Working Details.
Section 3. That the City Council authorizes the solicitation of bids.
Section 4. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shail certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2" day of November, 2010.
