CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.04-53
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY LAYOUT NO. 1 FOR THE
RECONSTRUCITON AT TH55 AND CSAH 19 INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has requested the City of Medina to review and approve by
resolution the plans for reconstruction of the Trunk Highway 55 and County State Aid
Highway 19 intersection; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina reviewed the TH55 and CSAH 19
intersection plans on March 4, 2003 at which time the Council moved and approved the
plans with no Resolution of Approval as requested by Hennepin County; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota as follows:
1. The council approves the Preliminary Layout No. 1, with stripping, dated June 5, 2001,
and authorize Hennepin County to acquire all right-of-ways, permits, and or easements
required for the improvement proposed in Preliminary Layout No. 1, and ban the
parking of motor vehicles at all times and provide enforcement for the prohibition for
those portions of Project No. 9225 within the City of Medina corporate limits.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Workman
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof
Workman, Lane, Zietlow, Brinkman
and the following voted against same: (Absent — Smith)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
