Also present' were Interim City Manager Davis, City Attorney Thever, City Clerk � Hooper, City Treasurer Pygatt and Department Heads. , l ' . i j. City Cderk Hooper announced the Agenda had been duly posted in accordance with The Brown Act. PUBLIC ORAL COMIVIUNICATIONS - AGENDA ITEMS None � . ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION Interim City Manager R. Davis explained how the confiscated vendors evidence to be Davis destroyed could be donated to benefit the Central America Disaster Relief. Davis explained and updated council on the status of the ' Lynwood Plaza and the overtime required to have two sheriff cars patrol the area. Dav i s MayorPro Tem Reyes stated this'has been an ongoing problem and other cities encounter Reyes the same problem. ' Councilman Richazds stated that the Sheriffs Department has the resources to control Richards 'these problems for other cities and should be able to do the same for our city. " . Davi s ��� Emergency Tree Service Contract " i � .� Public Works Director Joseph Wang explained the importance of cutting and.-trimming Wang trees around the�city of Lynwood. Councilman Richards agrees that this is an ongoing problem, numerous complaints have come in and it is time something is to be done promptly. Councilman Richards has some questions and issues and would like the Califomia Western Arborist, Inc. representative address the council. � � �9 � � �J 1 " Duncan Lee Duncan from California Western Arborist, Inc. explained that there aze more than 70 trees in the city of Lynwood that need to be trimmed or cut.
