HomeMy Public PortalAbout2004-056 Resolution Calling fo Public Hearing on Imp on Sioux DriveMember Lane introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.04-56 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON ROADWAY AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS ON SIOUX DRIVE FROM HAMEL ROAD TO VICINITY OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS SOUTH OF T.H. 55 WHEREAS, on March 4, 2003, the city council accepted the feasibility report prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates as consulting engineers with regard to the proposed roadway and sidewalk improvements on Sioux Drive from Hamel Road to the vicinity of the railroad tracks south of T.H. 55. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The council will consider the improvements in accordance with the feasibility report and the assessment of benefited property for all or part of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The total estimated cost of the improvements is $278,800. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such improvements on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 in the council chambers at city hall at 7:30 p.m. and the city administrator - clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
