RESOLUTION NO.04-56
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON
ROADWAY AND SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS
ON SIOUX DRIVE FROM HAMEL ROAD TO VICINITY
OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS SOUTH OF T.H. 55
WHEREAS, on March 4, 2003, the city council accepted the feasibility report prepared by
Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates as consulting engineers with regard to the
proposed roadway and sidewalk improvements on Sioux Drive from Hamel Road to the
vicinity of the railroad tracks south of T.H. 55.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota as follows:
1. The council will consider the improvements in accordance with the feasibility report
and the assessment of benefited property for all or part of the cost of the
improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The total estimated cost
of the improvements is $278,800.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such improvements on Tuesday, November 16,
2004 in the council chambers at city hall at 7:30 p.m. and the city administrator -
clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Brinkman
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Workman, Lane, Zietlow, Smith, Brinkman
and the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
