HomeMy Public PortalAbout2004-057 Resolution Calling for Public Hearing on Uptown Hamel Storm Water & Drainage Imp ProjectMember Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.04-57 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON UPTOWN HAMEL STORM WATER AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, on September 21, 2004, the city council accepted the feasibility report prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates as consulting engineers with regard to the proposed Uptown Hamel storm water and drainage improvement project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The council will consider the improvement in accordance with the feasibility report and the assessment of benefited property for all or part of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. The total estimated cost of the improvement is $487,998. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such improvement on Tuesday, November 16, 2004 in the council chambers at city hall at 7:30 p.m. and the city administrator - clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. Adams, City Administrator The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Brinkman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Workman, Lane, Zietlow, Smith, Brinkman and the following voted against same: None Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
