ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Clerk of the City are hereby authorized to execute
all necessary instruments required to convey to Missouri Department of Transportation,the
following real estate as described in Exhibit A and Exhibit B.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval. a

EXHIBIT B
LEGAL
The southerly 60 feet of an easement for ingress and egress, said easement commencing on
the south side of U.S. Highway 50 at the location in the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter
of Section 22, Township 44, Range 11, where there is access to U.S. Highway 50; then over and
along a strip of land 120 feet wide, lying on the right or south side of, parallel to and adjoining the
right-of-way line of U.S. Highway Route 50, as described in paragraph 18.10 of Report of
Commissioners of record in Book 169,page 8, Cole County Recorder's Office, and being across a
part of LePage's Subdivision, per plat of record in Plat Book 6, page 3, Cole County Recorder's
Office,to the point where the easement continues in a generally southerly direction over and along
a strip of land 60 feet wide.
Subject to Grantors'right to use all of the original 120 foot easement until Grantees complete
the relocation and reconstruction of a road over said easement which is at least comparable to the
existing road on said easement.
