He also requested to know the Western maximum fee we pay far the litigation with Western Arborist. Arbori st Lorna Hawkins stated that City of Lynwood has not paid the telephone bill pertaining to L. Hawki ns the Drive-By-Agony organization and asked Council to please help with the payment of Phone Bi l l �f-� the $400.00 + for last bill. , � � �'=r' , Jack Keane stated the Lynwood paper had an article on an ambush regarding Mr. Wilson �. Keane s (a resident of Lynwood). Mr. Keane also requested where was the patrol car, residents Mr. Wi 1 son and block watch participants? How did the Lynwood paper prints an article of'Mr. , Wilson's death and next to it an article on the Sheriffls going to a hockey game? $rick Bush, Firefighter for the City of Lynwood requested that the City Council please E.Bush move forward on the consolidation of the merge with County Fire. • County Fi re 1 r ,�,5.� J.Figueroa Juan Figueroa stated the Councilman Rea was present at the Lynwood Dodgers' game ;ouncilman Rea i at Dodgers' and Councilman Rea was continuously staring at Mr. Figueroa, causing him to feel aame intimidated. At the end of the game his car had been vandalized and stereo was also missing. Mr. Figueroa also stated that knowing Councilman Rea, �he would not -pass the opportunity to do such tfiirig. Mr. Figueroa also stated that if anything happens to him or his family that he will hold Councilman Rea responsible. ABSENT: NONE - ,, ' i COUNCIL ORALS ` Councilman Rea stated he would not respond to the accusation made earlie'r and Rea concerning Mr. Keanes' statement regarding the murder of Mr. Wilson, he will bring this Mr. Wi 1 son into discussion during dosed session. • Councilman Byrd stated he enjoyed seeing the Kids in Government today and hopes to gyrd . have the opportunity for them to tour City Hall. Councilman Byrd also stated we will Ki-ds i n '�� also be celebrating Character Counts in October. Also coming soon will be the down Gov?rnment home festival for June 19th. Councilman Byrd would like a proclamation at the next �uneteenth -� Council meeting. '. Councilman Reyes stated he is concerned on,the time it is taking to repair Reyes State Blvd. from State to Tweedy Blvd. Councilman Reyes discussed this with Joe Wang State B1 vd. earlier. A lot of business are being affected and would like to get an update from the City Manager. Councilman Richards thanked everybody involved in Kids in Government Program. Richards Stated he would report at the next meeting on his recent trip to Africa. That is why we have a City Attorney present to �1 istes people tell us what to do. Mayor�Sanchez also mentioned his encounter with Mark Cutter and �sponsible forEnrique Balistes which are the people responsible for his recall, which they made stupid is recal l remarks. The Mayor is yet to see the money that they claim was given to him. Mayor stated that there are people who want to see him out of the City and that Sanchez is for everyone not just for one person, the people who want to come into our community, we are not going to let them;come in, together we can get these'people out of here, "I would repeat myself we are not� selling drugs to people.
