SUBJECT: DISCUSSION ON THE POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT OF A MONUMENT
AT LAS TUNAS DRIVE AND BALDWIN AVENUE
RECOMMENDATION:
At the request of Mayor Ste rnquist, the City Council is re quested to :
1. Discuss the possibility of replacing the City monument at the intersection of Las
Tunas Drive and Baldwin Avenue in the City of Arcadia ; and
2 . Consider referring this item to the Decorative Street Design Element Ad Hoc
Committee .
BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS:
Attached for reference is a map of the Temple City/Arcadia boundary lines.
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS :
Discussion of the possibi lity of a Temple C ity/Arcadia monument at the intersection of
Las Tunas Drive and Baldwin Avenue will promote the C ity's strategic goal of Quality of
Life .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the F iscal Year (FY) 2016-17 C ity Budget.
