LAMBERT, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER SUBJECT: PLANNING COMMISSION ACTIONS -MEETING OF JULY 13, 2010 SUMMARY The City Council is requested to review the Planning Commission actions from their meeting of July 13, 2010. BACKGROUND Following is a summary of actions taken at the Planning Commission meeting of July 13 2010. Reorganization of the Plannino Commission The Planning Commission took the following actions: A. Vice -Chairman O'Leary was elected as Chairman B Commissioner Valenzuela was elected as Vice -Chairman Consent Calendar The Planning Commission approved the minutes of June 22. 2010, Unfinished Business The Planning Commission approved a Conditional Use Permit to allow the establishment of a preschool at 5570-B Rosemead Boulevard; Unit F. The preschool will have a maximum of sixty (30) students ranging from 2 1/2 to 5 years old. and will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Monday through Friday. The subject site is located in the City's Heavy Commercial District (C-3) and is designated Commercial by the City's General Plan. The proposed project included the installation of six additional panels. one dish antenna, supporting equipment. and a triangular reinforcement structure supporting the additional panels and equipment The subject property is located within the General Commercial (C-2) district and is designated Commercial by the City's General Plan.
