HomeMy Public PortalAboutM 2001-01-02 - CC �o� LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 2, 2001 The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a regular session at 11330 Bullis Roaci on the above date at 6:20 p.m. Mayor Richards presiding. r Councilmen Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Sanchez, and Richards answered the roll call. i ; Also present were City Manager Davis, City Attorney Thever, City Clerk Hooper � and City Treasurer Pygatt. City Clerk Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance with the Brown Act. PRESENTATIONS/PROCLAMATIONS City Clerk Hooper announced Councilman Byrd's Birthday. • PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS (Regarding Agenda Items Only) NONE PUBLIC ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ' Jack Keane - stated that he has been trying for over eight years to make the � hourly employees have insurance benefits for there family member's, thanked ' Council for giving the hourly employees the benefits for there family. Also stated ' he would like to know what happen to Eugene Wilson's case, it has been over a i year ago that he was murdered and Eugene's case has not been settled. � t PUBLIC HEARINGS � It was moved by Councilman Reyes, seconded by Councilman Byrd and carried to � open the pubiic hearing. � Hearing no response. ; It was moved by Councilman Reyes, seconded by Councilman Byrd to ciose the � public hearing.
