LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL MEETING
JANUARY 2, 2001
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a regular session at 11330 Bullis
Roaci on the above date at 6:20 p.m.
Mayor Richards presiding.

Councilmen Byrd, Rea, Reyes, Sanchez, and Richards answered the roll call.

; Also present were City Manager Davis, City Attorney Thever, City Clerk Hooper
� and City Treasurer Pygatt.
City Clerk Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance
with the Brown Act.

City Clerk Hooper announced Councilman Byrd's Birthday. •

Jack Keane - stated that he has been trying for over eight years to make the �
hourly employees have insurance benefits for there family member's, thanked '
Council for giving the hourly employees the benefits for there family. Also stated '
he would like to know what happen to Eugene Wilson's case, it has been over a i
year ago that he was murdered and Eugene's case has not been settled. �

open the pubiic hearing. �

Item# 10 ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF THE LYNWOOD �
MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROHIBIT DRIVING OF TRUCKS ON .
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND PARKING OF TRUCKS ON
PROPERTY ALONG LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
It was moved by Councilman Reyes, seconded by Councilman Byrd to waive
reading and introduce the Ordinance for first reading.
