LYNWOOD CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
JULY 31, 2001
The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a Special Meeting at 11330 Bullis
Road on the above date at 5:25 p.m.
Mayor Richards presiding.
Councilmen Byrd, Rea, and Richards answered roll call.

�1� Mayor Pro Tem Sanchez and Councilman Reyes were absent.
Also present were City Manager Davis. City Attorney Thever, and City Clerk
Hooper.
City Treasurer Pygatt was absent.
City Clerk Hooper announced that the agenda had been posted in accordance
with the Brown Act.

Mayor Richards stated he would like to postpone the presentations for next
Regular Meeting.
Item# 5: STRATEGIC PLAN AND IMPLEMENTATION:
Mayor Richards stated he would like to bring back Item# 5: STRATEGIC PLAN
AND IMPLEMENTATION for next Special Meeting.

It was moved by Councilman Byrd, seconded by Councilman Rea to hear the
Subsequent Need Item: Ongoing Litigation.

It was moved by Councilman Byrd, seconded by Councilman Rea and carried to
recess to a Joint Closed Session at 5:30 p.m.
Councilman reconvened at 6:00 p.m.
City Attorney Thever stated the Council met on aforementioned matters and on:

B) SUBSEQUENT NEED ITEM — NO REPORTABLE ACTION

It was moved by Councilman Byrd, seconded by Mayor Richards and carried to
adjourn to the Heritage Commission meeting at 6:00 p.m.
