A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE WELL NO. 9 REHABILITATION PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATION
AND TRANSFER FROM UNAPPROPRIATED WATER FUNDS TO NEW WATER
WELL NO. 9 REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, Well No. 9 was first constructed in 1947 and last rehabilitated on
March 21, 2005, and is one of the best wells of the City's Water System; and
WHEREAS, in order to be in compliance with the Cal-EPA water quality
standards, the well needs to be rehabilitated; and
WHEREAS, the design and construction cost for the rehabilitation of this well
would be $120,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Lynwood City Council approves the Well No.9
Rehabilitation Project.
Section 2. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

Un-appropriated Water Funds Well No. 9 Rehabilitation Project
$120,000 $120,000
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16 day of November, 2010.
