HomeMy Public PortalAboutM 1978-04-04 - CC,j~ REGULAR MEETING APRIL 4, 1978 The City Council of the City of Lynwood met in a regular session in the City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, on above date at 7:30 p.m. Councilman Byork in the chair. Councilmen Byork, Green and Rowe answered the roll call. Councilmen Morris and Higgins were absent. Also present were Assistant City Attorney Clark and City Manager Valliere. It was moved by Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman Rowe, and carried, that Councilman Morris' and Councilman Higgins' absence be excused. It was moved by Councilman Rowe, seconded by Councilman Green, and carried, that the minutes of the adjourned regular meeting of March 21, 197b and the regular meeting of March 21, 1978 be approved as written. Proclamation - Councilman Byork read a proclamation designating the week Public Schools of April 24, 1978 to April 28, 1878 as "Public Schools Week Week" and presented they pproclamation to Mr. Doyle Current, Master of Masonic Lodge No. 600. A report on Phase II of City Park Security Lighting was Bid call auth. presented by the City Manager with the recommendation Phase II City that Council authorize a call for bids . It was moved by Park Security Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman Rowe, that Lighting Council concur in the recommendation. As there were no objections, the motion carried. The City Manager recommended that a 60-day extension of Ext..of leave of leave of absence for Sherry Mohr be .approved.
