Advisory Board Mrs. Vivien Thompson
Council discussed action to be taken with regard to the
vacant City Treasurer position. State law mandates that
the position be filled or a special election called within
30 days after creation of the vacancy. The matter of
Mr. Dave Richman's eligibility to serve as City Treasurer
is scheduled to be determined in Superior Court on
April 20, 197.
Mr. Robert Henning addressed the Council to express
opposition to appointing a temporary City Treasurer, and
stated that he would be in favor of calling a special
election should the court determine that Mr. Richman is
ineligible to serve as City Treasurer.
