' Absent : None . `` Overnight The City Manager presented an ordinance entitled: parking fee "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL`OF THE CITY OF to remain at LYNWOOD AMENDING SECTION 19-129 AND 19-134' OF THE $5 CODE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING TO OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMITS." for Council consideration. The proposed ordinan~e~would increase the permt'fee from $5 to'$10. It was moved by Councilman Byork, seconded by Councilman Morris, and carried, that the ordinance be read by title only. It was moved-by Councilman Green, seconded by Councilman Morris, to amend the-ordinance to provide for a permit fee of $5. With respect to Council action on change of permit fee, the result is that no change of Section 19-129 would be effective. Since Section 19-134 was previously ' amended to increase the renewal fee, no further action with respect to the-proposed ordinance will be required. COUNCIL AGENDA '~~ Councilman Rowe recommended that consideration be given to the use of green tiles instead of red tiles on the island in the area of Long Beach Boulevard, north of Imperial Highway. Councilman Morris. requested that grass clippings be carted away in the area of, State Street and Los Flores Boulevard. Councilman Qreen nominated Richard McNiel to the Community Affairs Commission. Councilman Green nominated Commissioners Glave and MaJimsey to the Personnel Board.: Councilman Rowe nominated Sal Ledesma to the Personnel Board. Robert Henning was appointed to the Parking and Traffic Commission. The Mayor announced that there is a vacancy on the Housing. and Community Development Advisory Hoard. Captain Waller invited the Council and community to attend an Open House on May 13, 1978 from 10 a.m.. to 4 p.m. at the Sheriff's Station.
