HomeMy Public PortalAbout12/21/1929TWIT OF GULF STREAI,I, FLCRIDA I:HINTES OF TOWS COMIISSL OPT, DECOMER 21st, 1929 A regular meeting of the Town Cnmmissi on of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, was held at the Town Hall of said Town on the 21st day of Dec.mber, A. D. 1929. Commissioners DeParlier, ;,dams a _d Hass were present. ISayor DeParlier called to the attention of the Town Com- mission that the minutes of the previous meetings had not been proper- ly approved from time to time at subsequent meetings. Town Clerk Hoes read all of the meetings which had been previously held by the Town Commission, and after a few corrections_ had been made, on motion, duly made, seconded and carried, all the minutes of the previous meetings were approved as read and corrected. It was called to the attention of the Commission, that a Code of Ordinances was being prepared by Attorney Byrd and that a copy of said Code of Ordinances had been submitted to the Town Commission for its approval. The ,prepared Code of Crdina ces was gone over and considered by the Commission and at the suggestion of Mayor DeParlier, copies of said Code were submitted to the various property owners in t.erested in the adoption. It was further called to the attention of the Commission that it would be necessary to have a Tax Roll compiled in accordance with the Charter Act, said Roll to be submitted to the Town Commission by the Tax Assessor before Janus ry 20, 1930. The Tax Assessor was instructed to prepare a 1930 Tax Roll and have the same ready for con- sideration at the next regular meeting of the Commission on January is, 1930.
