RESOLUTION N0. 2640 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD WITHDRAWIIVG CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND AN- NEXED TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE PRO TECTION DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY. WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has completed the annexation of certa.in a.reas of la.nd, as hereinafter described., ta sa.id City of Lynwood, and WHEREAS, said City of Lynwood does provide fire protectim to sa.id a.rea.s of la.nd, and WHEREAS, the State of Ca.lifornia Hea.lth and Sa.f ety Code, Division 12, Part 3, Chapter 2, Article 11, provid.es tha.t whenever a.ny portion of a fire protection district is included within a city by reason of a.nnexation, such portion may be withdrawn from the d.istrict, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood that the following d.escribed areas of la.nd be and the same are hereby decla.red withdrawn from said Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County; ANNEXATION ORDINANCE N0. Under the provisions of Section 54902 of the Government Code, all district boundary changes must be filed with the County Assessor on or before February 1 each year. The information from you as to the withdrawal of this territory from the County Fire Protection District was too late to be effective on the 1956 assessment roll.
