A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREE-
MENT BETInTEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE STATE
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION FOR THE PERFORMANCE BY
SAID BOARD OF ALL FUNCTIONS INCIDENT TO THE
ADMINISTRATION, OPERATION, AND COLLECTION OF
THE UNIFORM LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX LAW.
WHER.EAS, the Legislature of the Sta.te of California ha.s
enact;ed. the Brad.ley-Burns Uniform Local Sales and. Use Ta.x Law in
ord.er° to provide for uniform ad.ministration, reporting, sa.les and.
use tax lates, and. collection of' local sales and. use taxes, and
WHEREAS, Ord.ina.nce No. 643, a.dopted a.t an a.d,journed
regul.ar meeting of the City Council held. on Februa.ry 28 Z956
impo:,es a city sales and use tax and. provid.es f'or the performance
by the Sta�e Board of Equalization of all functions incid.ent to
the �d.ministration, operation, and collection of the sales and. use
tax,
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by �he City Council of the
City of Lynwood. tha.t a.n agreement be approved and. entered. into with
the State Board. of Equaliza.tion for the performa.nce of all functions
incicl.ent to the a.dministra�ion, opera�ion, and collection of the
sales and use tax, and that the Ma.yor of �he City of Lynwood be
authorized to enter in�o said. agreement on behalf of the City of
Lynwood,
