WHERFyAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of I,os Angelea hae allocat-
ed $21, for the improvement and maintenance of ma�jor city streets of geaeral Coun�ty
intereet within the corporate limits of the City of Lynwood for the fiacal year 1955 -56; ana
WI�REAS, the City of I,ynwood is now ready to proceed with its pro�ram of
straet improvement work;
NOW� THF�rORE 8E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of I,�nwood
that the Board of Supervisors be requested to grant to said City of Lynwood $21,5�6.25 arld
approve its expenditure for the improvement and maintena.nce of the following streets a.nd
aveanes in said Cit�e
1. The conatxv.ction of cement concrete curbs, cement concrete gutters�
dra.inage stru.eture and plant-raixed surfacing in portions of Carlin Avenue betweea Waldorf
Drive and Thorson Avenue.
2. The conetruction of plant-mixed surfacing in tY�e following streets and
avenues:
Imperial Highway between rernwood Avenue and Alameda Street
Jose,ahine Street from School Street to Muriel Drine
Platt Avenue from Bullis Road to Ernestine Avenus
JoseAhine Street from State Street to Peach Street
Easterly roadway of Alameda Street from Imperial Highwa,y
� to Butler Avenue
3. Genera.l maintenance in the following streets and avenuea:
Abbott Road from Century Boulevard to Tast City Limita
Long Beach Boulecard from South City Limits to North City Limits
Century Boulenard from Weat City Limits to East City Limita
