CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2006-03
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT APPROVAL
FOR LEAWOOD FARM 2nd ADDITION
WHEREAS, Frances H. Graham, (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of Lot 6 and Lot 7,
Block 1, Leawood Farm Plat, Hennepin County, Minnesota (the "Property"); and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plat was reviewed by the planning commission at its
meeting on November 8, 2005 and, following a public hearing thereon as required by
law, the planning commission recommended approval thereof, subject to certain terms
and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Medina city council considered the preliminary and final plat at its
meeting on December 6, 2005.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota that the preliminary and final plat approval be granted to the Applicants for
Leawood Farm 2nd Addition, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The final plat is subject to the execution of the First Amendment to the Declaration
of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Maintenance Agreement for a private
road for Leawood Farm.
2. The Applicants shall provide an access easement over lot 1 for the benefit of lot 2, to
provide access to the private road.
3. If required by the city, the Applicants must provide the city evidence of the
execution of the Amendment to Declaration of Driveway Agreement, Covenants and
Restrictions for lot 1, block 1 Dahl 2nd Addition, lot 2, block 1 Dahl 2nd Addition and
lot 2, block 1 Beaulieu Addition prior to recording of the plat.
4. Before issuance of a building permit for lot 1 or lot 2 of Leawood Farm 2nd
Addition, the Applicants shall obtain approvals for the septic design and location.
5. Before issuance of a building permit for lot 1 or lot 2 of Leawood Farm 2nd
Addition, the Applicants shall obtain a driveway permit.
6. The Applicants shall obtain a building permit for all new construction.
7. The Applicants shall provide a manure management plan that is satisfactory to the
University of Minnesota Extension Service.

8. The Applicants shall pay the City a fee sufficient to reimburse the City for the cost
of reviewing this application.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Cavanaugh and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Brinkman, Workman, Cavanaugh, Smith
and the following voted against same: (Absent: Weir)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
