CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION 2006-11
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING CDBG FUNDING OF SENIOR COMMUNITY
SERVICES' TAMARACK SENIOR CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Medina has supported services for its elderly and
disabled residents via Senior Community Services' Tamarack Senior Center with the
allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina feels that the provision of services for its elderly
and disabled residents is of great importance and should be continued.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Medina
recommends to the Consolidated Pool Selection Committee that CDBG funding of Senior
Community Services' Tamarack Senior Center is a high priority public service activity
and should be continued.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Cavanaugh and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Brinkman, Weir, Smith, Cavanaugh
And the following voted against same: (Absent: Workman)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
