A regular meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, was held at the Tovm Hall of said Town at emit o'clock P. 1:., Nover:.ber 17, 1928, Commissioners Charles H. Rug.-les, i:ayor, Frank L. Swanson, and Phil Y. Cason, Town Clerk, were present. There being no unfin- ished business to come before the meeting, tide Commissioners _:)ro- ceeded to the consideration of new business. The following reso- lution was presented by Phil Y. Cason: "Whereas, it is necessary to hold a special election for the election of officers of the Town of Gulf Stream; "And whereas, the 9th day.of January, A. D. 1929, has been designated as a date for a s-pecial municipal election at the To= Hall in the Tovm of Gulf Stream, Florida; "And whereas, it is necessary t_iat the election officers be designated and appointed to have charge of and con- duct said election; "BE IT RES01VED BY I = 001,:ZSSION OF THE TOWN OF GUFF STREAL, FLORIDA: 111. ThatYatherine Hoss be and she is hereby designated and appointeu. Clerk for the special municipal election to be held in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, on the 9th day of January, A. D. 1929. 112. That Florence Adaris be and she is hereby designated and w)pointed as iispector for said special municipal election at tie To= Ball in the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, on the 9th day of January, A. D. 1929. 113. That the election be held at the Town Hall, the same being the Gulf Stream Golf Club in accordance with the ordinances and City Charter of the To= of Gulf Stream, Florida. 114. That the Iayor post a notice of the calling of said s,)ecial election and.hFve a copy of said notice published three times in the Palm Beach Times, a newspaper published in Palm Beach County, Florida." Is. Swanson moved that the foregoing resolution be adopt- ed and when put to a vote, the same was u.animously passed and was ordered spread upon the minutes of the Cormiission. The Llayor directed tae Town Clerk to notify the Inspector and Clerk of the election of their appointment, and to instruct them to be present at the polling place on the date of the elec- tion. The L:ayor instructed the Town Clerk to have pro)er ballots printed and necessary election equipment prepared for the holding of said election.
