RESOLUTION N0 2616
RESOLUTION OF ORDER OF VACATION OF A
OF FRANKLIN STREET EX�ENDING NORTHERLY OF
LYNWOOD ROAD IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did on
the 6th day of September, 1955 Pass a resolution declaring its
intention to vacate that portion of Franklin Street extending
northerly of Lynwood Road as hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, notices of said proposed vacation were published
and posted in the time, form, and manner required by law, and
WHEREAS, a full and impartial hearing was held on the 4th
day of October, 1955 covering all the matters described in said
Resolution of Intention, and
WHEREAS, no protests or ob,jections were made at said
hearing to said proposed vacation of said portion of Franklin Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as follows:
' ' Section l: That the following described portion of- '
Franklin Street is unnecessary for present or prospective public use
and it is hereby ordered that the following described portion of
Franklin Street extending northerly of Lynwood Road in the City of
Lynwood, California, be aacated and abandoned:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Lot 389
of the Bullis Alameda Street Tract as recorded in
Book 9, page 105 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles ..
County; thence southerly parallel to the easterly
boundary of Lot 9 of the Commerce Tract as recorded
in Book 146, pages 49 and 50 of Maps, Records of
said County, to the northerly line of Lynwood Road;
thence easterly along the northerly line of said
r�ad to the southwest c�rner of Lot 10 of said
Commerce Tract; thence northerly along the westerly
line of said Lot 10 to the point of beginning.
