RESOLUTION N0. 2610
IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF PENDLETON
AVENUE. RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF
DEBT LIMITATION.REPORT.
• The City Council of the City of Lynwood. does hereby
resolve as follows: ,
(1) That the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to
institute proceedin�s for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
(2) That the general nature, location, and extent of
such proposed, improvement is as follows: The construction of cement
concrete sidewalks on a portion of Pendleton Avenue between Colyer
Avenue and Elm Avenue.
(3) It is hereby determined that thirty-three and one-third
per cent (�3-1/3�) of the cost of said work or improvement shall be
paid by the City of Lynwood for lots having side frontage on Pendleton
Avenue only.
(4) It is hereby further determined that the City Council
of the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and in accordance
with Section 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cali-
fornia which is known as the Special Assessment Investigation, Limita-
tion and Majority Protest Act of 1931, as amended. It is hereby
further determined that said City Council proposes to conduct the pro-
ceedings for said proposed work or improvement under an act of the
Legislature of the State of California known and designated as the
"Improvement Act of'1911" as amended.
(5) The boundary or extent of the assessment district to
be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improvement is
shown on Plan No. 1955-F on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said City, which shall �overn for all details a,s to the extent of
said assessment district. '
(6) That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed
to prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report covering.

said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said
"Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931" as amended.
