RESOLUTION N0 2609
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
' LYNWOOD, APPROVING REPORT OF THE CITY ENGINEER AND
FIXZNG TIME OF HEARING IN THE MATTER OF THE PRO-
POSED IMPROVEMENT OF BEECHWQOD AVENUE BETWEEN LONG
BEACH BOULEVARD AND CALIFORNIA AVENUE BY THE CON-
STRUCTION OF CURBS, GUTTERS,.DRIVEWAYS, AND SIDE-
WALKS, AND THE REMOVAL OF EXISTING PARKWAYS, DRIVE-
WAYS, AND PORTIONS OF SIDEWALKS.
The City Couneil of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, a report on the proposed improvement, to-wit, the
,construction of cement concrete curbs, gutters, driveways, and side- �
walks, and the removal of existing parkways, driveways, and portions
of sidewalks on Beechwood Avenue between Long Beach Boulevard and
California Avenue, all as shown on Plan No 1955-c-2 has been pre —
pared by the City Engineer and delivered to the City Council of the
City of Lynwood, as provided in Division 4 of the Streets and High-
ways Code, cited as the "Special Assessment, Limitation and Majority
Protest Act of 1931" as amended, as directed by said City Council
� at its meeting held on July 5, 1955
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby approve said report and orders that said report be filed
with the City Clerk.
2. That the City Council hereby fixes the 6th day of
September, 1955 at the hour of 8 o►clock p.m, as the day and hour,
and the Council Chamber of the CiLy Hall, 11330•Bullis Road, in the
City of Lynwood, California, as the place when and where any and
all persons interested may appear before said City Council and be
heard on any matter pertainin� to said report. -
, 3. That the City Clerk is hereby ordered to give the notice
-- ._ � prescribed by Section 2851 of said Streets and Highways Code referred
