RESOLUTION N0 2606
IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVENLENT OF BEECHWOOD
AVENUE. RESOLUTION DIRECTING PREPARATION OF
" DEBT LIMITATION REPORT,
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows: �
(1) That the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth.
�(2)� That the general nature, locat3on, and extent of
such proposed improvement is as follows: The construction of
cement concrete curbs, driveways, and sidewalks, plant-mixed gutters,
and the removal of existin� parkways, driveways, and trees on
Beechwood Avenue between Long Beach Boulevard and California Avenue.
� (3) It is hereby determined that forty per cent (40g�)
of the cost oF said,work or improvement shall be paid by the City of
Lynwood, �
(�+) It is hereby further determined that the City Council
of the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and in aceordance
with Section 4_of the Streets and. Hi�hways Code of State of Cali-
, fornia which is known as the Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Ma�ority Protest Act of 1931 as amended, It is hereby
further determined that said City Council proposes to conduct the pro-
ceedings for�said proposed work or improvement under an act of the
Legislature oP the State of California known and designated. as the
"Improvement Act of 1911" as amended. '
l5) The boundary_or extent of the assessment district
to be assessed to'pay the costs and, expenses of said improvement is
, shown on Plan No. 1955-c on file in the office of the City Clerk of
, ' said city, which shall govern for all details as to the extent of
said assessment distric,t.
(6) That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed
to prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report coverin�

� said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said.
"Special Assessment Investigation, Limita.tion and Majority Protest
. ' Act of 1931" as amended. ,
