RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT %'ITH GARDEN STATE
LABORATORIES SER'~TICES
~A:IlEREAS, the Borough of Gm'rorer (tile "Borough") requires laboratory services on a
monthl5 basis for sampling, analyzing and reporting nine industrial users located in thc
Boroc~gh: and
~'HEI,~E,,kS, Garden Slate Laboratories ("GSL") has been providing said serxices to the
Borough and is ;villing to continue to prox icle said service; and
V¥'iiEREAS, thc Borough wishes to retain the services of GSL.
NOW, THEREFORE BE, IT RESOLVED by thc Mayor and Council of thc Borough of
Carteret that Garden State Laboratories is hereby awarded a contract in an illllO[lll[ not to
exceed $17,280.00 ro pl-ovidc sampling, anulysis and reporting on behalf of the Borough in

bidding in that tine laboratory scrxiccs provided by GSL are extraordinary unspecified
.services exempt from the bidding requirement.

by law.
