A regular meeting of the Town Commissioners of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, was held at the 'Town Hall of said Town on the 22nd day of June, A. D. 1929. Commissioners DeParlier, Adams & Hoss were present. Attorney C. Y. Byrd appeared before the Com- mission and submitted to them a copy of the new Charter Act which had been passed by the, recent Legislature. The attorney called to the attention of the Commissioners that M. L. DeParlier had been named as Mayor, Hl E. Adams as Vice- &Iayor and L. K. Hoss as Town Clerk,to hold office until the election in March 1932. Upon the suggestion of the Attorney, each Commissioner took the required oath set out iii Article 2, Section 5 of the new Charter Act. E::gineer B. F. Sellers submitted blue prints and map of the Town of Gulf Stream and the same werereceived by the Commission and the bill for preparing t:e map was filed with the Town Clerk. There was some discussion on the part of the Com- mission as to the advisability of levying taxes for the pur- pose of defraying necessary municipal e:cpenses, however this matter was left to Mayor DeP arlier and Town Gerk Hoss for their further recommendation and consideration. lt.
