CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2006-31
RESOLUTION RELATING TO TAX FORFEITED LAND
WHEREAS, Lot 3, Block 17, Independence Beach Addition, County of Hennepin,
Property Identification Number 18-118-23-21-0075; and
WHEREAS, this parcel has become the property of the State of Minnesota for non-
payment of real estate taxes; and
WHEREAS, this parcel is on Non -Conservation List #1297 from Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to use this property as drainage and
wetland.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina:
1. To authorize the Mayor and the City Administrator -Clerk to make application to the
State of Minnesota and the County Commissioners of Hennepin County for
conveyance of this parcel for the public purpose of drainage and wetland.
2. To submit a certified copy of this resolution to the Hennepin County Board of
Commissioners in accordance with Minnesota Statute Section 282.01.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Weir and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
