Subject: Bal Harbour Hotels Recognition by Forbes Travel Guide
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to transmit to you the announcement by Forbes
Travel Guide recognizing Outstanding Hotels, Spas and Restaurants.
For the eighth consecutive year, The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort has earned the Five -Star
Designation, and its Remede Spa Bal Harbour has also earned the Five -Star Designation. The
St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort was one of six hotels in Miami Miami -Dade County to earn this
designation for 2021. The other five properties are: Acqualina Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, Four
Seasons at the Surf Club in Surfside, Faena Miami Beach, The Setai Miami Beach, and the
Mandarin Oriental in Miami.
For the seventh consecutive year, The Ritz -Carlton Bal Harbour has earned the Four -Star
Designation, one of eleven hotels in Miami to earn this designation in 2021. The others include:
Ritz -Carlton South Beach, Ritz -Carlton Key Biscayne, Ritz -Carlton Coconut Grove, Fisher Island
Club and Hotel, 1 Hotel South Beach, Carillon Miami Beach Resort, Four Seasons Miami, Trump
Doral Miami, and the Trump Beach Resort Sunny Isles Beach.
