Subject: 75th Anniversary Summer Programs
The purpose of this LTC is to share with you that two events will be launching in Bal
Harbour Village as part of our 75th Anniversary Celebration. Both of these events were
developed with input from the Resort Tax Committee.
Premiering on Sunday, May 23, 2021 the first of four "Symphony by the Sea" pop-up
music events, in collaboration with the South Florida Symphony Orchestra, will be held
featuring a "String Quartet". The performance will be held at the northern end of Bal
Harbour beach with the musicians set up on the Jetty Walkway playing to the audience
who can enjoy from the beach directly below. The performance will be from 4:00pm-
5:30pm. The remaining three events will be held on Sunday, June 27, Sunday, July 25
and Sunday, September 26 (no event will be held in August).
On Friday, June 4, 2021, a weekly Florida Fresh Farmers Market will be launched in the
green space located outside the residential community between Collins Avenue and
Harbour Way East. The Farmers Market will feature curated local vendors showcasing
a variety of organic produce, spices, artesian kosher breads, cheeses, flowers and other
specialties. The Farmers Market will be held each Friday from 10:00am-6:00pm and
additionally on the first Saturday of the month beginning in July.
