MINUTES OF TOWN 00'rTISSION. JATTUARY 7, 1931.
A regular meeting; of the Town Commission of the
Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, was held at the Town _fall of said
Town on the 7th day of January, A. D. 1931.
Commissioners DeParlier. Adams, and Floss were present.
'.Iinztes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The rate of Taxation for 1931 came up for discussion.
There having been sufficient funds raised by the special fifteen
mill tax of 1930 to cover all expenditures during the years 1930
and 1931. "Mayor DeParlier made a motion to lower the 1931 tax rate
to two mills, which motion was passed, and Tax flollector Hose was
instructed to prepare the 1931 tax roll.
A bill in the amount of X25.00, same being a final
statement from Attorney C. Y. Bird for his services to the Town of
Gulf Stream, Florida, was presented. A motion was duly made, seconded,
and carried authorizing payment of same.
There being no further business to come before the
Commission, t'_ze,y were re;�ularly adjourned.
